This is one of a collection of art bought from an artist based in Jaipur called Kishan Kashyap, who retired 15 years ago. He became known for his beautiful chinoiserie paintings featuring birds and blossoms all painted on handloom silk. This painting is one of his larger pieces, featuring Cranes as the central theme.
